They are also popular among artists who create their own linen or cotton canvas panels, or mount sanded pastel or watercolor paper for a firm, long-lasting surface. The unprimed raw pine surface can be prepped to work with virtually any medium, including oils, acrylics, encaustics, and mixed media collage.
